DAY 12 of the 12 Day Holiday Hootenanny! RADCLYFFE!

Okay folks, no bingo cage this go ’round. Just me, a hat, my two nieces, and about 5000 little pieces of paper. The winners are as follows:

  1. Sonja
  2. Cam
  3. Lisa
  4. Norma

Thanks again to all the authors who contributed their work, a big thanks to Radclyffe for sponsoring an entire day’s worth of winners, and an even bigger thanks to Andi for doing all the work to make this happen.

Most important, thanks to all of you who checked in day after day to play along. It’s been a fun ride and I hope we can have a repeat event next year.

Happy reading, y’all!

Jove

Friends, thank you. Thank you for joining us at Women and Words the past 11 days to share some luv and holiday cheer. It’s readers like you that make writers like us do what we do. We are so grateful to all of the authors who donated books, and to all of the people who have signed up to participate in our drawings. No matter what you celebrate (or even if you don’t), may the season bring you good cheer and may the new year bring you more of the same.

And now, for our grand finale.

ALL RADCLYFFE, ALL THE TIME ON THIS, DAY 12!!!

Author of over 35 books. Founder and publisher of Bold Strokes Books. You know her. You know of her. You love her work. You want her books. Well, HERE IS YOUR CHANCE to win a Radclyffe title OF YOUR CHOOSING! That’s right. Radclyffe is offering 4 books — whatever your little heart desires when we pull your name out of the hat.

Don’t know what you want? Well, check out Radclyffe’s website. Or go to Bold Strokes Books to see the over 35 titles she has in print.

Something in the Provincetown Series, perhaps? Like

Or one of her myriad standalones like The Lonely Hearts Club?

Or perhaps something from the Honor Series?

Or maybe you’d like her first paranormal title, The Midnight Hunt (writing as L.L. Raand).

IT DOESN’T MATTER! Why not? Because YOU get to pick. A big ol’ thank you to Radclyffe for finishing out our 12 Day Holiday Hootenanny. And thanks again to all of you who participated in the fun, festivities, and all-around frolicking. Happy Holidays from all of us at Women and Words to all of you.

To enter today’s drawing, leave a comment on this blog entry. Include your email address at the comment prompt (it won’t be seen publicly. SWEAR. I am totally not making that up.). To avoid spam-bots, don’t include your email in the body of your comment. You have until 10 PM EST to enter. At that point, we’re doing the drawing and we’ll post the winners here, on the Day 12 entry.

4 drawings. 4 chances to win.

And as always, have fun and good luck!

  5. Please put me in the drawing. Many thanks for the pre-Christmas fun. It’s sort of like Ellen’s 12 days of Christmas but for literary lesbians!!

    • Andi and I have been discussing it. We’ll see what happens between now and then, but we are both excited about how well it’s gone and what a great way this is to top off the year.

  12. When I emailed Radclyffe initially to see if she would like to participate, I was amazed by her instant generosity: “Whatever you need. Thanks for including me.” Classy.

  15. Put me in for the last drawing. Love Rad’s books, and everyone else whom I have read and believe it or not I have read most every author on Facebook. At my age this is about all I do anymore. So I’m going to be a little piggish and say PICK ME.PICK ME. I doubt that anyone would appreciate it more.

    • I assure you, it’s our pleasure. And I agree, what better way to finish the event. Radclyffe has done a great deal for lesbian fiction, both with her writing and publishing (and for my writing in particular since she continues to publish my work). Add to it her generous offer of multiple titles and this was the only logical place in the hootenanny to feature her work.
