Photos from the GCLS con!

Hi, peeps! So I’m up here in the great Northwest at the GCLS in Portland and I wandered through the exhibit hall taking some photos so you could see some of the stuff going on.

Here’s our little corner of the exhibit hall.

image— Yee-ha! Women and Words. Kinda sexy, if we do say so ourselves.

image— Sapphire Publishing, our fab neighbors.

image— And our other fab neighbor, Liz McMullen, who was off
no doubt gathering interviews.

And then I headed over to another corner of the room.

image— Bedazzled Ink publishing brought the beach party to the con.
Happy 10-year anniversary, BI!

image— Affinity Ebooks in the house!

lee— Lee Fitzsimmons of Desert Palm Press graciously allowed
me to take a photo.

image—Silent auction items. Carleen Spry’s baked goods
in the foreground.

image— You know you want to put a bid in on this…

image— D. Jordan Redhawk shows us a bucket full of the seriously dee-lish Voodoo Doughnuts, an icon of Portland fantabulousness. Or she’s working on some kind of experiment that’ll show up in her next book.

image— Lynn Ames brought lots of tees and caps in addition to books
(and seriously, if you haven’t yet, check out Digging for Home).

And that’s just a tiny part of the awesome-ness going on. Meanwhile, here’s the view right out back. The hotel sits on right next to the Columbia River. That’s Mt. Hood, there in the background.

imageHappy Friday, everyone, and hope to see you next year!
