LOOK AT YOU, my little maids a’ milking and lords a’ leaping! Clearly, you haven’t been completely inundated and overwhelmed at this holiday house party we like to call the Hootenanny merry elf oh no they di’n’t circuit party. GOOD. Because we haven’t stopped up in here! The eggnog is now flowing pretty freely (and probably some other beverages) and we’re on our 98th pot of coffee and we’ve taken to using the peppermint vault as a reviver, but that’s all right because THIS IS HOW WE ROLL this time of year.
From all of us here, thanks to all the authors and publishers who have made this event possible. Without you, there would be no Hootenanny (THE HORROR!) and we are so grateful for your generosity, helping share the luv this time of year. THANK YOU from the bottoms of our hearts and eggnog red solo cups. And of course, many thanks to you, dear readers, for joining us on our escapades. We wouldn’t do this without you because, seriously. What’s the point? Without readers, there wouldn’t be writers. So thank you.
(hint: “Let it Snow”)
Hey, the weather outside is crappy
but winning books makes us happy
the elves pay the weather no heed
let us read, let us read, let us read!
The elves, they sure aren’t stopping
and the reindeer have corn for popping
they know what we need
let us read, let us read, let us read!
When I finally finish this book
how I hate putting it down
but if I win tonight
the rest of the night I’ll be warm!
The fire is slowly dying
and these elves, they’re not goodbyeing
there’s more Hoot-uh-nan-EEEEE
Let us read, let us read, let us read!
So if you want in on today’s drawing, leave a comment on this here blog. Please provide your email address in the comment fill-out form (that’s how we notify you), but do NOT put it in the comment body because the Bureau of Holiday Smackdowns has its legions of spambots mercilessly patrolling the interwebz, and they’ll kidnap your email address and use it for nefarious purposes. But when you put it just in the comment fill-out form, only we and the merry elves see it (and we lock ’em in the peppermint vault for safekeeping). They may drink a lot of eggnog, but they’re tight-lipped about email addresses.
And PLEASE, dear readers. One entry per person per day. Let’s share the luv, okay?
First person drawn wins an Affinity book, second does, too, and so on down the list. In other words, we do not match books to readers. We’re trying to keep our heads from exploding.
Drawing closes at 10 PM EST US (here’s your world clock). The merry elves draw the winners right after that and we notify pretty quickly and post winners’ names right here. So if you see your name on the blog but you haven’t received an email, check your spam filter.
NOTE: Print is specified for the country publisher will ship to. If there is no specification, the publisher will ship anywhere.
And publishers, please refrain from entering today’s drawing. After all, it would be kind of weird if you won a book from your own house.
And now, your doorway to opportunity (note: if you click the name of each publisher, it’ll take you to that publisher’s site). Good luck!
