Too Many to List

After Mollie LoveIt’s the day before Thanksgiving here in the U.S. and even if you don’t celebrate the holiday, it’s as good a time as any to take a look around and reflect on the things we’re thankful for.

My list is really long, but I’ll share a few things – family who loves me no matter what; an amazing wife who dreams big dreams with me; fuzzy beasts (see Mollie, above) and their unconditional love; good health; a successful writing career and all the readers who helped make that possible… I could do this all day.

What are you thankful for? Chime in by Sunday and I’ll draw two names from the comments to win an ebook of their choice from any of my titles.

  1. I agree there are so many things to be thankful for, among them: chosen family, life itself, the beauty of nature and laughter. Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate it this week/weekend!

  2. Today – great gratitude! My own small effort (a local history & genealogy book written to be sold by a small museum in my hometown) sent off to the printer after final proof a couple of hours ago! Nearly two years to research and write with another volunteer …
A free woman once again! … until I decide what the next project is!
Happy Thanksgiving to all the Women and Words writers and readers!

  3. What am I most thankful for? My family and friends and everyone in between-my dog, the admin to a Fantasy writer’s group, my crit groups, my writing pals, my books, my computer, and on and on. I’m also thankful for the opportunity to enjoy the world around me.

  5. Family, friends, my girlfriend, a full time job with some cool co-workers, free time to write, great books to read, my kindle paperwhite, my Cray Cray brain that very thankfully keeps coming up with random writing ideas, the totally cool women and words web page that has given me some writing leads, a sense of community, and a free book or two. 🙂 Hope you and everyone involved with this page have a very happy Thanksgiving.

  6. I’m thankful for family and friends and especially my fabulous partner but most of all I’m thankful for Lesbian Fiction and all of the hard workers who make it possible. The authors, beta readers, publishers, editors, cover artists, helpers and readers. Enjoy your Thanksgiving.

  7. I’m thankful for the family who donated their son’s organs after he tragically lost his life. Seven months ago, I had kidney transplant surgery giving me a healthy future.
