Hootenanny 2015 — Day 12

Christmas Present With Golden Sparkling BackgroundYou made it! Day 12 of this outta hand crazy what were they thinking oh no they went ahead with it anyway nutso event! It’s like the Hootenanny just flings by lickety-split, but we’ve had a fantabulous time, have we not? Even with the wreck that used to be this house, the piles of pizza boxes and eggnog containers, the candy canes and tinsel strewn all over everything — we’ve loved every minute, and we hope you have, too. Once this is over, I’m sending the crew to the movies where they’ll all probably cosplay Star Wars and eat tons of popcorn and M&Ms. Jove and I, however, are going to take some naps. Somehow. I’m sure there’s a couch under here somewhere.

Tuckered out! Until he gets some eggnog and chocolate...
Tuckered out! Until he gets some eggnog and chocolate…

So thanks, publishers and authors, for your donations that have helped make this holiday season festive and fun. And thanks to all of you, for your participation. All of you make this possible, and we are so very glad to be a part of it.

You know the drill. Leave a comment here to get in on the day’s goodies. Make sure you include your email address in the fill-out form, but not in the comment body. It’s all about sharing the luv and protecting you from spambots.

We close the drawing here at the blog and at Rafflecopter at 10 PM EST US (world clock) at which point we get right on drawing those names. We notify you via email and post the winners right here on the blog. If you see your name here but you don’t have an email, check your spam filter. We give the books away in the order in which they appear. First name drawn gets the first book, second the second, and so on.

AUTHORS/PUBLISHERS, if you’re listed today, please don’t enter the drawing. That’s just craziness. 🙂 We have delineated where an author/publisher will ship a paperback or other goodies. If there is no delineation, that author/publisher will ship anywhere.

It’s the last day to sign up for our Rafflecopter giveaways, too. You only need to enter that once, so if you haven’t, here’s your chance. It ends tonight at 10 PM EST US. Click the reindeer below:

(hint: “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas“)

Hope you had a merry little bookfest
Hope your heart is light
From now on, our reading will be out of sight

Hope you had a merry little bookfest
And your Yuletide’s GAY!
From now on, your troubles will be miles away

Here we are with all our eggnog
All the eggnog, have some more
Awesome books that are dear to us
We gather near to us once more

Through the years we all will be together
If the elves allow
So raise a shining glass and toast the crazy crowd
And hope you had a merry little bookfest now

Through the years we all will be together
I think the elves will allow
So raise a shining glass and toast the crazy crowd
And have yourself a merry little Christmas now!

And now, behold. The offerings for our final day of this year’s funfest! Good luck!

  8. Well the rescue elves are shaking their heads at my gift choices for the wife. Shovels, garden shears, a flame thrower (well its a torch to burn weeds), and of course after a trip to Homo Depot- TOOLS. I know quiet the romantic I am. (I think they are just jealous) So now to wrap. How the hell do you wrap a flame thrower? Well hopefully when she doesn’t burn the new house down with it, but the rescue elves have decided to park the fire truck out front. Bring out the eggnog and grab the mason jar of moonshine, this could be beyond fun or a total disaster! Happy Hootenanny!!!!

To those who celebrate it: Happy/Merry Christmas (I’ve been in the USA 26 years and it still comes more naturally to me to say Happy, rather than Merry; guess I’m a slow learner.)
