Crime Combo

Greetings! I’m excited to announce I have a new Luca Bennett story coming out in April, but even better, my story, Bow and Arrow, is part of volume of three crime fiction novellas, Girls with Guns.

Here’s the skinny:

Three stories by three talented crime writers—Carsen Taite, Ali Vali, and Michelle Grubb—each packing her own special brand of heat.

In Hammersmith by Michelle Grubb: Officer Belinda Riley knew the signs of a suicide bomber, but this time she was blind to the obvious. This time she didn’t want to believe what was right in front of her eyes.

In Bow and Arrow by Carsen Taite: Bounty hunter Luca Bennett has always lived on the edge of the law, but now she’s living with a cop and doing her darnedest to stay out of trouble. When an old enemy resurfaces, will the shady ways of Luca’s past come back to haunt her?

In Hell Fire by Ali Vali: Dr. Abigail Eaton stumbles into a massacre, but once someone tries to kill her it seems like no accident. While hunting for the perpetrators of a sex trafficking empire, Agent Riley Abbott saves Abigail from a professional hit and discovers the young mother might be the key to more than just her case. Riley takes Abigail and her family to what she thinks is safer ground, and runs right into the arms of reputed mob boss Cain Casey.

You can get your copy of Girls with Guns in April, everywhere books are sold, but if you’d like a sneak peek, leave a comment on this post about why you like crime fiction. I’ll draw two names and the winners will receive an ebook version of Girls with Guns. I’ll draw the names this Sunday, March 6th.

  2. I enjoy crime fiction and find it takes me away from the bs of my regular day. I get immersed in the storyline, try to figure out the mystery along the way, and enjoy getting to know the characters and locale.

  5. Crime fiction is my favorite . . . trying to predict what will happen before it happens, having something totally opposite of what I expected is always a great read!

  6. Smokin’ hot cover! Love it. Crime fiction rocks my world because I love me some cop shows. The thrill of the hunt, the chase, the red herrings, all that jazz. And I’m not a big fan of just romance stories, but I love when thrills and chills of the dangerous kind are mixed with all the thrills and hotness of a great romance.

  11. I am so looking forward to these stories. I love crime stories because they make me feel a bit naughty and invincible myself. That rouge character who is always one step ahead of everyone else, what’s not to love about it. Also, the characters are always so interesting, generally a bit broken and in need of a strong woman to provide the comfort and strength they need to take on the world.

  15. I love a good crime book that leaves you hanging but also involves love so that the story line is continuously engaging. Crime stories involve just the right amount of cliff hangers without the horror of thrillers. I just love books and love to read these authors!!!

  16. I like crime fiction when it is about solving crimes, not just making a background for love stories. And solving crime by brains, not weapons.
