Where did the time go?

I’m not just talking about today, or tonight rather, when I realized that I opened WordPress on my computer at nine a.m. this morning, but it’s now after nine p.m and my brain’s been pulled in a thousand different directions resulting in a mostly blank blog. And it’s not just today, but this year, which is already two months down. Crazy, right?

Since it’s so late in the day, I thought I’d just give you a quick look at some of the things I have coming up. The last week in March, I’ll be at the Saints and Sinners Literary Festival in New Orleans. There’s an amazing line-up of authors including J. M. Redmann and Dorothy Allison, with plenty of panels, readings, and master classes. And beignets 🙂 On April 1st, I’ll be making the drive down to Austin with my buddy VK Powell for the 9th Annual Lone Star Lesfic Festival – a free, full day of readings and panels with over two dozen lesfic authors on hand for your entertainment.

And in May, my next novel, Letter of the Law, the third installment in the Lone Star Law series, will be released to the general public (advance copies will be on hand at the Lone Star Lesfic Festival).

Whew! Before you know it, it’ll be summer. What’s going on with all of you?

  1. Yay! A new Carsen Taite book! I shall inform my wife who was just asking me, “When’s Carsen’s next book coming out?” 😉 I’m looking forward to reading it, too, Carsen! Congrats! As for me, I just finished a rewrite/edit of my next one. After a lot more passes, it’s on to my editor. 🙂 Hope you’re doing well!
