I’m not R.G. Emanuelle…

…but I am her friend. Today, she’s taking care of family business, so you get me instead. Normally on Thursdays, y’all get some sort of impressive insight into life and the creative process. That’s not happening today. Instead, I’d like to share my favorite books by some of my fellow Women and Words authors.

Andi Marquette

the-bureau-of-holiday-affairs-800-cover-reveal-and-promotionalIf you haven’t read The Bureau of Holiday Affairs by Andi Marquette, you are missing out. This is her re-imaging of A Christmas Carol, featuring agents rather than ghosts, and lesbians rather than white dudes. In other words, it’s all sorts of awesome in a tidy holiday package. Yes, I know it’s not Christmas, but I also know that it’s never a bad time to read a feel good book.

R.G. Emanuelle

Add Spice to Taste CoverI love food. Most people do. In this sweet, romantic novella, R.G. Emanuelle takes the reader on a journey of the senses. She writes about food in a way that I can’t even describe properly. She engages and seduces the reader with her sensual mix of food and romance. In other words, you really need to read this.

Ashley Bartlett

BSB_Dirty_MoneyThe whole Dirty Trilogy by Ashley Bartlett is an irreverent blend of lesbians and the mob. The books follow a group of friends who run roughshod through a dangerous, dark world of deception, big money, drugs, and murder. All told with Ashley’s unique voice.

Yvonne Heidt

the awakening award pictureThe Sisters of Spirits Trilogy by Yvonne Heidt features a group of women who have a range of psychic abilities. The first book in the series, The Awakening, features Sunny, a psychic medium. The Sisters work with the local police to help solve a series of murders that hit close to home for Sunny.

That’s it for my recommendations today. What are your favorite books by our authors?

  1. One of my favorite authors is also Yvonne Heidt. I am a fan of The Rainey Bell Series by R. E Bradshaw. I probably her series of books about six to seven times, if not more. I have so many favorites I would be here half the day listing them.
