Greetings! I’ve just returned home from a whirlwind of festivals. First up was the Saints and Sinners Literary Festival in New Orleans followed the next weekend by the Lone Star Lesfic Festival in Austin.

Both events were full of great panels and readings and I’m grateful for the opportunity to connect with readers and fellow authors in such fun venues. There are so many fantastic events in the spring, but these are a couple of my go-to festivals.
Sometime in the midst of these goings-on, I managed to turn in the edits to my August release, Sidebar, and now I’m back to work on my December release, A More Perfect Union. AND the postman left a box full of my May release, Letter of the Law, the third book in the Lone Star Law series, on my front porch.
So, let’s do a giveaway. I’ve got two prerelease copies of Letter of the Law up for grabs (ebook only for winners outside the US). Just leave a comment below telling us one of your favorite things about spring. I’ll draw the winners on Sunday, April 9th, so get your comments in by midnight CDT, Saturday, April 8th.
Cheers!
… best thing I have seen about THIS spring is a new Carsen Taite!!! [ebook]

My favorite part of Spring is watching 5+ feet of snow slowly, and I mean slowly, melt away. Thankfully, the lawn is showing and things are turning green…..which always is a sign of hope to me.
Thanks for offering to give away a book, I always look forward to reading your novels.

Spring to me is colour arriving in the garden with the yellows of daffodils and primroses and the woodlands covered in a carpet of blue from the bluebells. I love it when I see the blue tits popping in and out of the various bird boxes we have, getting them ready for their brood. Also spring means camping time and getttng out in our motorhome and spending the weekend with my head stuck in a book.

Best thing about Spring? Is that the snow is off the beach and the tides bring in fantastic treasures. Vancouver Island has the best flotsam and jetsam in the Spring. Would love to read the new book, Letter of the Law and I promise to read it on the beach! Thanks, folks.

Even though it is Autumn here, or as you call it ‘fall’, I can still remember what spring is like as we are having 30 C days at the moment. My favourite part of spring is shaving my legs after the winter growth and wearing shorts for the first time in the season. Apart from looking at ‘lily-whites’ for a few weeks, it’s all good!

I’m really enjoying the trees blossoming and flowers, Of course this is the second or third time around for some of them, since we’ve had crazy up and down temps. Here’s hoping Spring is actually here to stay .

My favorite part of spring are the wildflowers, particularly the California poppies. This year is particularly amazing thanks to the buckets and buckets of rain we have had. And of course, living on the Monterey Bay, I am looking forward to the return of the humpback whales in a few weeks.
