Welp, here we are again. It’s Monday and my super-good intentions to be prepared by writing a blog yesterday for this morning went by the wayside.
Again.
I don’t know why I continue to be surprised by this – but I always am. I also don’t know about you – but I’m a “sorry” addict. “I’m sorry for (fill in the blank)
At least I don’t have to feel as if I have to apologize for stealing anyone’s air.
I know that sounds silly – but there have been large amounts of my life thinking just that way.
This has to end.
I saw a quote recently that got my attention.
So now, I can stop being a sorry addict and quit apologizing.
Anyway…
(And yes, I’ve said it just that way before Ellen.) 🙂
First things first: I’d like to congratulate Cynthia C. for winning the blog giveaway for an autographed copy of Meet Me in the Middle. I’d also like to thank everyone who took the time to enter and leave me nice comments on the excerpt I shared. You Sreally should know how much that means to me as an author. 🙂
I’ve just received my edits back for Paradigm and I’m excited to dive in. Have you subscribed to Sapphire Books yet to keep up on our news and updates? Here is their FB page.
Here’s hoping, I won’t have to re-post it in the following weeks.
In addition – I’d like to thank the awesome women at the Women with Pride book club (Formerly known as Jewel) at the Dallas Resource Center for having me over to discuss Meet Me in the Middle and letting me share an early look-see of Paradigm. Sandy and I had a lovely time and I couldn’t have asked for a better group of women to talk with!
I was going to catch everyone up on my memo app since it’s been so popular lately – but as the twelve anniversary of daughter’s passing is coming up on the 3rd – I’ll leave these two here: *Warning – there might be tears involved.*
The Week of Deserae and Are there Chicken Enchiladas in Heaven?
I’m pretty much useless in the month of May as her birthday is also at the end of it.
Why do I always work it so I have edits during this month?
I’m not sure if it’s a cruel cosmic joke or not – but I always manage just that.
As I’m writing this WordPress has decided to freeze on me several times and informed me that I can’t back up my blog OR preview it so I better try and post it before it disappears on me.
I know I’ve rambled and let ya’ll into my little ADD world this week – but really, you can’t be surprised at this point can you?
I hope you have an awesome day.
And being as there are five Mondays this month – I’ll see you next week 🙂 I’m thinking of sharing an excerpt with you then 🙂 Depends on how much red-ink I see. LOL
Be kind to each other (and me!)

Yvonne, thank you for sharing, no matter how or when. I truly think keeping someone’s memory alive keeps them with you, in both physical and non-physical ways. And I also think somehow we manage to end up doing “heavy” work when times are the hardest. Maybe there’s a reason for that. Actually, of course there is…I don’t believe in coincidences. Passing on the kindness!!

I tried to follow the Sapphire Books link, but it was on Facebook. Some of us don’t do Facebook anymore. Fortunately, Sapphire Books has a real web site at this URL (unless I’m mistaken): http://new.sapphirebooks.com . I thought that this info might be useful to some of us.
