There might not be a motor big enough to run Jove’s lathe…

Andi is wondering where tf the year went, as fall is upon some regions of the northern hemisphere. Jove has the sadz because she burned out yet another motor on her lathe, and eventually she’ll get a motor that can handle her incessant lathing (LOL). They talk about the 1980s and 1990s, cool YA books Jove recommends, self-analysis, staying busy, 9/11, and how they live vicariously through Fiona Zedde.

Sept. 7: Women and Wordster Ann Etter talks about great books she’s read via recommendations from friends. Check out some of them.

Sept. 8:Author Kathleen Knowles stopped by to talk about her brand new release, Somewhere Along the Way, which deals with the 1980s, AIDS, addiction, and recovery. Have a look.

Sept. 9: Author and Women and Wordster Jessie Chandler did an interview with Author Patty Schramm about Patty’s latest, the second in her Romance in the Yukon series, Sara’s Choice. AND she’s giving a copy away! Find out more!

Sept. 10: Women and Wordster, life coach, therapist, and all-around awesome person Angela Grace has a few things for us to think about with regard to those annoying neighbors. Let’s ponder.

Sept. 11: Writer and Women and Wordster Val Agab has started a new semester, and she’s actually cut back on her classes but she’s okay with that, since her schedule is still full. However, she finds that she prefers to stay busy. Do you?

Sept. 12: Author and Women and Wordster Renée Bess has a chat with author and Women and Wordster Fiona Zedde about writing, travel, and how the former as well as gender and identity might play out abroad. Dig in for more good stuff.

Sept. 13: Author and Women and Wordster Sam Ledel is not a fan of the month of September, and she has some very good reasons for that, but she’s trying to reclaim it. Go see.

And Jove would like to remind everyone that she’ll be posting the Hootenanny sign-up sheet here at Women and Words within the next week or so (Lord willin’ and the creek don’t rise, Andi says). Stay tuned!
