Some Final Thoughts

Hiydeeho, gang. This is my last blog entry of the year, since the Women and Words Hootenanny starts on Dec. 12. I spotted Tucker, the Merry Hootenanny Elf, on social media, on his way to the festivities, so it’s on! Well, almost.

Anyway, I thought I’d take this final opportunity to share what’s been happening over at Dirt Road Books. Hot off the presses is KD Williamson’s latest book, Big Girl Pill, about a second chance at love between old college friends.

We also just released A Year in the Kitchen with R.G. Emanuelle, which contains the recipes from the first year of our newsletter, and all proceeds from that go to the Oregon Food Bank.

Recent releases also include Penny on Parade, by Penny Taylor and Gill McKnight, a tell-all about Taylor’s first year in the British Army in the early 1970s, and Louisa Kelley’s Fianna the Gold about dragons and dragonly love. And earlier this year, we released Wild Rides by the venerable Sacchi Green, a sexy romp through various times and places.

Last, but far from least, our beloved Gill McKnight has just given us Borage, a paranormal delight about witches and all sorts of supernatural beings. These, along with previous releases, all make great stock stuffers for the book lovers in your life. Or even yourself as a reward for making it through another tough year.

And so, friends, we come to the end of the 2019 crazy. I wish you all a wonderful holiday season (whichever holidays you may celebrate, or if you celebrate at all), and may 2020 be better in every way.

  1. OMG…I’ve missed Tucker’s adventures. Can’t wait to see what he’s been up to and what he’s going to get into! Did he make it to the Thorns’ games this year? How about next year? I’d love to sit next to him. haha
